Max Payne Fails To Maintain Standards, Says The Games Designer.
Max Payne is a BAFTA award winning third-person shooter video game developed by Remedy Entertainment, produced by 3D Realms and published by Gathering of Developers in July, 2001 for Windows. A later it was published for Xbox and PlayStation 2 by Rockstar Games. The story starts with Max Payne, a New York City cop, returning to his apartment after duty to find that a trio of drug junkies high on a new drug have broken into his house. Max rushes to the aid of his family, but he is too late; his wife and newborn daughter have been killed.
Game designer Scott Miller, CEO of 3D Realms, who helped produce the game series does not like the film adaptation. He states that it has lots errors on the fundamental grounds.
The greatest issue with the movie is that none can really understand what is driving Max until the flashback scene are shown. However, in the game, the scenes were put in front of the story for a cause. He further considers the movie to be a narrative blunder because the audience needs to relate with the character of Max Payne in order to like him and understand what drives him.
